Campaign Rules

[Government]

Here are some quick rules we expect you to stick by:

General

• Players that are banned will be disqualified from being a candidate.

Etiquette

• All campaigning should be positive, friendly and be good natured.
• You may say what you will do differently to other candidates but be respectful at all times.
• No proxy campaigns, troll farms or abuse against other candidates.
• No campaigning during or near another player's campaign event or on a plot belonging to another candidate, unless that plot is a main city region.
• Do not harass players into voting but feel free to let them know if you are running and any link to your campaign manifesto.

Fraud

• No promising of favours or money in returns for votes
• No misuse of campaign money.
• No accepting of third-party financial support to benefit your campaign.

Campaigning

• Campaigning can include forum posts, discord posts, map arts, graphic displays, signs, skulls/heads, stands, builds, less frequent chat posts and flags.
• Please do not use pixel art displays or make campaign related builds in the wild.

Expenses

• Candidates running for President of the Player Senate may be reimbursed for expenses up to the amount of $10k.
• Candidates running for Senator may be reimbursed for expenses up to the amount of $10k.
• Expenses can be used to rent or temporarily buy regions from other players or the wild.
• Other expenses include map arts / graphic displays and employing the designing or building and demolition of any campaign event builds.
• Graphic displays are charged at $100 per block or $1000 per block to keep the displays.
